Freeway
Category: Cat - Gender: Female
I used to live where there were a lot of stray cats, but one in paticular caught my attention. So I started to befriend her to the point at times she let me pet her very briefly. Since she was a stray the name Freeway fitted quite well. She was on her own and lived by her own rules, so her ways were completely free. Sadly, she passed away a few years back, but before she did I was able to keep three of her kittens from two of her litters. They are healthy and remind me of their mother in their own way, especially the female (Sally).

Gray Kitty
Category: Cat - Gender: Male
My neighbor and I named this Tom Cat Grey Kitty because he's all gray (shocking!). He comes around twice a day to get fed- once in the morning around 7:30, and in the afternoon around 5:30. We've had him fixed, de-wormed, and checked for illness. Turns out he has FIV. We both have two cats of our own, and can't adopt any more- so he remains an outdoor friend. He has a heart of gold and wants to belong so badly! He has taken shelter in the storage shack we have in front where we keep all our 'extra' belongings. He seems happier and healthier than he did 6 months ago when he first started coming around. He talks to you, he rubs against you, and doesn't seem like a stray at all! We took him to a vet to get checked up- hissed and growled- the vet was shocked of how friendly we told her of him to be. My cats that I own were also stray cats. Maybe I'm a crazy cat lady afterall ...

Sparecat
Category: Cat - Gender: Unisex
It is my cat's name. Where I used to live, there was a couple. The boyfriend didn't like one of their cats (I never knew why) and he put it outside. This cat would sit outside the back door of their apartment and mew loudly. Sometimes he would hide behind the water heater for the washing machine, and "surprise" people while they were doing their laundry.
When my then pet cat passed away, this couple was moving from the building, and I took their "spare" cat to replace my old one. This was almost twelve years ago!

Spook

Some strays can spook you when you first see them, or they look dull or grey or jet black and it's always fun to name them somthing as such.

Tiger
Category: Cat - Gender: Male
The reason why you should name your kitty Tiger is because if it has stripes like a tiger alo if it is orange or a pretty white color.
