I have a female Collie names Merrybelle, short for her registered name Merrybelle's Holiday Spirit. She was named that because we got her the day after Christmas one year. We also have a male named Falconwood's Prince Shilo, Shilo for short. Falconwood was the name of the ranch he came from and Shilo is a Scottish name meaning unity and loyalty. We have another that is not named yet that we just got.

My magnificient pooch, well, her name is Noel (BEST DOG I EVER HAD!) she was a Christmas present to myself. Her name was either going to be Noel or Kizmet, because it was Kizmet when I saw her, I just knew we were meant to belong togther. If you are looking for a Dog Trainer tell them your thinking of naming your new dog Noel,(even if your not,or it's not a "new" dog. Ask them if they think the name is too close to the word "NO" to name a dog to properly train it, if they say, "Yes, it is.", this person is an IDIOT look elsewhere! Don't waist your money, and you and your dogs time on him and/or her!
